Project kick off meeting on “RainCommunities - Rainwater Harvesting Formalization in the Central Cardamom Mountain of Phnom Kravanh National Park, Cambodia”
On February 5, 2026, RainWater Cambodia (RWC), in collaboration with the International Rainwater Harvesting Alliance (IRHA), organized a project kick off meeting on “RainCommunities - Rainwater Harvesting Formalization in the Central Cardamom Mountain of Phnom Kravanh National Park, Cambodia” funded by the Federation Genevoise de Coopération (FGC).
The workshop was presided over by Mr. Sam Narith, Deputy Governor of Pursat Province, representing H.E. Khoy Rida, Governor of Pursat Province. The event was attended by representatives from relevant departments, local authorities, and various development partners.
The primary objectives of this workshop included:
- To present the project’s objectives, implementation methodology, and expected outcomes to all stakeholders, particularly for the 5 target communes in Veal Veang District Pursat Province.
- To Create a discussion platform to gather inputs and recommendations on project activities and implementation methodologies
