Project P8274 - 1st Quarter Newsletter | November 2025 – April 2026
1st Quarter Newsletter | November 2025 – April 2026 Project: Improvement of Health Conditions and Educational Opportunities at Schools in Northern Cambodia through Education on Puberty and Sexuality.
RainWater Cambodia, supported by BMZ through KHA and Engagement Global, has made strong progress in its first quarter of implementation across five target districts in Preah Vihear Province: Chey Saen, Chhaeb, Kulen, Choam Ksant, and Sangkum Thmei.
Key highlights include the official project launch workshop, school mapping and WASH facility assessments to establish a clear baseline for infrastructure improvements, and a Training of Trainers (ToT) on Menstrual Health and Hygiene (MHM), Puberty, and Sexual Education with 22 provincial-level participants. Building on this, a broader Training of Trainers for School Health Focal Points and School Management Committees was successfully completed across all five districts, reaching 377 participants including 142 women. In March–April 2026, the project distributed 1,644 menstrual hygiene kits to girls in all targeted schools. Commune-level dialogues on menstrual hygiene, puberty, reproductive health, digital safety, and parenting skills were also held in Kulen and Sangkum Thmei districts.
