, but managing and using water efficiently is essential to ensure sustainability and equality for all communities

On this important day, RainWater Cambodia (RWC), in partnership with the International Rainwater Harvesting Alliance (IRHA), organized the celebration of World Water Day to promote rainwater harvesting and gender equality in the community. This world water day encourages both women and men to have equal rights to participate in decision-making and in managing water resources sustainably. The world water day event was funded by FGC and SIG.
HAMAP: Hosted the delegates for overseeing the progress of water and sanitation project in Dang Kambet commune
On 10th February 2026, RWC hosted the delegates for overseeing the progress of water and sanitation project in Dang Kambet commune, Sandan district, Kampong Thom province with presided by H.E Prof Lim Puy, vice chairman of the Tonle Sap Authority and as the chairman of the Integrated Water Resource Management - Stung Sen Basin, and by H.E Prim Ratha, deputy governor of Kampong Thom province; and key stakeholders.

On February 5, 2026, RainWater Cambodia (RWC), in collaboration with the International Rainwater Harvesting Alliance (IRHA), organized a project kick off meeting on “RainCommunities - Rainwater Harvesting Formalization in the Central Cardamom Mountain of Phnom Kravanh National Park, Cambodia” funded by the Federation Genevoise de Coopération (FGC).
P8274: TOT Training on "Menstrual Health and Hygiene - Puberty and Sexual Education"
Project: "Improved of Health Conditions and Educational Opportunities at Schools in Northern Cambodia through Education on Puberty and Sexuality."
From January 13 to 15, 2026, RainWater Cambodia, in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Education, Youth, and Sport, organized a Training of Trainers (TOT) on “Menstrual Health and Hygiene (MHM), Puberty, and Sexual Education.” The program aims to promote the well-being and rights of adolescent girls in schools.
P8274- Improving the Health and Educational Opportunities of Students in Northern Cambodia
RainWater Cambodia has received funding from the German Government and KHA Organization to implement a project on "Improving Health Conditions and Learning Opportunities in Schools in Northern Cambodia through Education on Puberty and Sexuality" with activities set to begin from November 2025 to October 2027.
The project will provide support to 138 schools across 5 target districts, including Chey Saen, Chhaeb, Choam Ksant, Kulen, and Sangkom Thmei districts in Preah Vihear Province, comprising 107 primary schools and 31 secondary schools.
